An increasing number of Law Faculties in Europe have established research institutes or introduced teaching courses. See for example "Some leading academic ICT-law programmes in the European Union". The Conference "Legal Education and ICT-Law in Europe" will take place on 13 and 14 July 2006 in Hannover, Germany and is aiming at presenting theoretical and practical concepts of Information and Communications Technology (ICT)-Law in order to promote a common understanding of ICT-Law as an academic discipline.
