Legal Education and ICT-Law in Europe
The Conference will take place on 13 and 14 July 2006 in Hannover, Germany and is aiming at presenting theoretical and practical concepts of Information and Communications Technology (ICT)-Law in order to promote a common understanding of ICT-Law as an academic discipline.
An increasing number of Law Faculties in Europe have established research institutes or introduced teaching courses, as it was already proposed some 25 years ago by the Council of Europe:“Teaching, Research and Training in the Field of Computers and Law” (Recommendation No. R (80) 3, adopted by the Committee of Ministers on 30 April 1980).
