There are few more venerable institutions within the legal profession than the Law Library of Congress. Established in 1832 as a branch of the Library of Congress, its mission is to provide research and legal information to the U.S. Congress, the federal courts, executive agencies and the public. It is the world's largest law library, with a collection of more than 2.65 million volumes. But just because it is venerable, that doesn't mean it can't also be au courant.
