Die - relative - Flut der Klagen in den letzten Jahren deutet darauf hin, dass es mit guten Plätzen in Diversity-Rankings nicht getan ist: Ist die aktuelle Klage einer ehemaligen CC-Associate in NYC ein Fall von Wenn Sie hier weggehen, werden Sie in dieser Stadt keinen Fuß mehr auf den Boden bekommen?
WSJ Law Blog-Meldungen zu Fällen wie diesem führen dann übrigens in aller Regel schnell zu Kritik an AA (affirmative action) und Kommentaren wie diesem:In my experience, black attorneys are cut quite a bit of slack keeping them around is good for big firms because it makes them appear diverse. At my firm, as long as they can do basic tasks, they are allowed to stay even if they only bill 1500 hours a year (2000 is the expectation here). However, if any attorney has a bad attitude and doesnt play well with others, they will be fired unless their work is phenomenal. Sounds like that was the real issue here.
