Climate Change Bill: Emissionen für Innovationen?

Die aktuellen Entwicklungen um die neue US-amerikanische Klimagesetzgebung sehen in einem Entwurf der „Climate Change Bill“ nun auch für die Autoindustrie ein Freikontingent an Emissionsrechten vor. Die Emissionsrechte sollen im Zusammenhang mit verstärkten Investitionen in Fahrzeuge mit alternativen Antrieben investiert werden.

Ob die Taktik der Freikontingente tatsächlich aufgeht, wird inzwischen jedoch bezweifelt, weil mit dem aktuellen Gesetzgebungsvorschlag für rund 35% der gesamten Emissionsrechte Ausnahmeregelungen bestünden. Hier bieten sich für deutsche Unternehmen mit Technikvorsprung interessante Koo…
