Criminologia is proud to announce a series of short films, each featuring one university from the Common Study Programme in Critical Criminology. This Programme provides a common instructional framework in Criminal Justice and Criminology among several European universities and has steadily developed into the premiere scholarly forum for the study of critical criminology. Universities participating in the Common Study Programme host semi-annual conferences, termed ‘Common Sessions’, on a revolving schedule. These events provide participants – staff and students alike – with the opportunity to exchange ideas and deliver papers on topics which fall under the umbrella term “Critical Criminology”. It was during the Common Session in Porto (Spring 2012) that the interviews forming this series were conducted.
